Thomas' Science Fair Project


This is Thomas with the red cabbage juice (it is blue after you boil it).

These are the results: red for acid, blue/purple for neutral, and green/yellow for bases. The bottle in the center was the control. It had tap water in it.

For Thomas' Science Fair project this year, he wanted to determine the pH of different household substances using red cabbage juice. Strange, I know, but it does really work. The juice from the red cabbage acts like litmus paper. It was pretty cool and thanks to me he actually got it finished on time! Here are some of the photos...
